From September 25 to October 4, 2013, our General Manager Mr. Zhao Sikui, accompanied by the technical manager, made a ten-day trip to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and other countries in the Middle Eastern to carry out market research.
1. They visited some extremely important ship owner companies in the Middle East that provide oil platform services, such as IMCC, NPCC, CCC, VMGULF, AGILITY and ZAMIL, conducting an in-depth exchange on their short-term needs and long-term planning in which they reached an agreement on cooperation on many types of offshore construction products,
2 They paid a visit to the local shipyards including Drydock world, Marcap, Topaz and Khalid for information on the types, characteristics and construction costs of their products so as to know themselves, their competitors as well as the market demand better;
3 They attended the OSD conference in the Middle East, discussing and exchanging ideas on the status, development and prospect of the oil market in the Middle East; analyzing and discussing measures for development and looking to the bright future from different perspectives (ship owners, shipyards, traders, manufacturers, etc.).
4 They also participated in the Work Boat Exhibition in Abu Dhabi to further understand and better follow the market trend and conditions of all kinds of offshore construction vessels.
During the exchanges on those conferences/exhibitions which analysis and guidance of the offshore construction market are available, we are deeply impressed by the fact that there is an abundance of oil resources, increasing demands for offshore construction and infinite opportunities in the Middle East market.
At the same time, our orientation and competitiveness in the market are more precisely defined through the well-targeted visit and communications upon projects which cater to the needs of the ship owners, including the Self-Elevating Unit, Offshore Construction Vessel, ROV/DSV and AHT. During the communication, cooperation intention targeting the above-mentioned products has been determined right on the scene.
The trip to the Middle East can be concluded as fruitful, which inspires us to boost the cultivation and penetration of the Middle East market with resolute conviction and confidence. Therefore, we had an appointment with officials of the Consulate and consulted the attorney in Dubai to establish the Abu Dhabi branch as a center and further expanding our businesses to Qatar, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Iran and even to the whole Middle East.
